Multitude is looking for a part-time Community Manager! The heart of Multitude is our listener community, and the Community Manager will be responsible for communicating with, listening to, and strengthening relationships with our listeners.
We're looking for someone who is excited about podcasting and knows how to run healthy, vibrant internet communities. They will report to our CEO, Amanda McLoughlin.

Responsibilities:
-Manage member community (MultiCrew) newsletter, private Instagram, and chat forum
-Coordinate announcements from Multitude via company communication channels (Twitter, Instagram, newsletter)
-Perform outreach to press and platforms around important announcements
-Develop audience engagement and outreach strategies for Multitude podcasts
Qualifications:
-Experience managing communications for an organization or business
-Time participating in, moderating, or leading an online community
-Comfort communicating with and coordinating deadlines among multiple colleagues
-Listen to and enjoy podcasts (though not necessarily ours!)
-Attention to detail when performing tasks like spell-checking emails, testing links in newsletters, and verifying dates/times
-Familiarity using Mailchimp, Squarespace, and Canva (or similar programs)
-Enthusiasm for online communities, helping members feel seen and respected, and thinking of new ways to help creators thrive in the digital media landscape

Pay: $30/hr
Hours: 20 hrs/week
