14 months after Brandon Grugle planted the idea in Eric Silver's head that a sitcom podcast would be interesting to make, NEXT STOP is finally out.
This audio sitcom is about your mid-to-late 20s when everyone is changing around you—and you worry that you might not catch up. When longtime roommates Cam and Ally search for someone to replace their newly engaged former roommate, they stumble upon the iconoclast and ridiculous Samuel Clemens.
This audio sitcom is written by Eric Silver, directed and sound designed by Brandon, assistant directed by Julia, and executive produced by Amanda McLoughlin. Episode One ("The One with the Proposals") also features cameos from Mike Schubert and Eric Schneider, plus a ton of Multitude friends and family. This is a treasure trove of jokes, pathos, and a brief escape into another world.
Listen to it using the embedded playlist, in your podcast app (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, PocketCasts, Stitcher, Podyssey, etc), or on the Next Stop website. (where you will also find transcripts for every episode, plus our full cast and credits).
Lastly, we're releasing a blog post on a different aspect of scripted fiction podcast production every week on Patreon's blog. We paid for this show using an advance from Patreon (check out NEXT STOP's Patreon page!), so it's really exciting for us to share what we learned on their blog. The resource will also be collected into one big PDF and published here in June.
Thank you for your support! We hope you are safe and well. We’re here for you, doing everything we can to keep making shows to help you get through your day.
