Pitching Multitude: Terms and Conditions

By submitting your pitch to Multitude Productions (“Multitude”), you understand that any ideas and other materials that are submitted (“Submission Materials”) may be similar or identical to materials that have already been submitted or developed or may be submitted or developed to or by Multitude. The terms “you,” “your,” and “yours” include and bind the submitter and any of their legal representatives. Please read these submission terms carefully before submitting a pitch. As part of submitting your pitch to Multitude, you agree to the following:

  1. You are at least eighteen (18) years old.

  2. Any Submission Materials are your sole creation and owned by you. You have the right to submit these materials to Multitude. 

  3. Multitude has made no promises to you regarding these materials.

  4. You have retained a copy of the Submission Materials and agree that Multitude is not obligated to return your submission to you. Multitude is also not responsible for loss or damage of any Submission Materials. 

  5. Your Submission Materials are not considered confidential information.

  6. Multitude has the right to share your Submission Materials, name, and likeness with others for the purposes of evaluating the submission to determine if the submission is a good fit, with no compensation to you. Your Submission Materials will not be commercially exploited or used for monetary gain.

  7. Multitude is not obligated to evaluate your Submission Materials or enter any type of agreement with you. 

  8. You acknowledge that Multitude may have independently developed ideas, programming, formats, and other materials which are similar to or identical to your Submission Materials. Multitude may also independently develop similar or identical ideas, programming, formats, and other materials in the future. Multitude has the unrestricted right to use the materials developed by Multitude or with other parties and you will have no rights or recourse against Multitude for that usage. 

  9. You are not entitled to any form of compensation for the usage of any materials similar to your Submission Materials if these submissions have been previously submitted, subsequently submitted independently of your submission, developed based on an idea similar to the basis of your submission, or independently developed. 

  10. You are the owner of all rights, title, and interest in the contents of your Submission Materials, including the worldwide copyright and any and all extensions and renewals to copyrights worldwide in perpetuity. 

  11. Your Submission Materials do not infringe on the personal or property rights of any third parties, including privacy and intellectual property rights. The Submission Materials also do not defame, slander, or contain libel against any third parties. 

  12. You agree to indemnify Multitude against any claims or damages based on your breach of these terms. 

  13. Subject to the terms above, Multitude agrees not to make commercial use of any ideas included in Submission Materials except under an agreement negotiated between you and Multitude. 

  14. Any disagreements under these terms will be governed by the laws of the state of New York.

  15. No other agreement exists between you and Multitude with respect to the Submission Materials.
